Meissner Tierney Fisher & Nichols S.C. (MTFN) is pleased to announce that Jacob A. Sosnay became a shareholder of the firm on January 1, 2024.

Jacob plays a critical role in MTFN’s litigation practice group, with a focus on civil rights litigation in federal court. His expertise lies in representing insurers and their insureds in civil matters, with a specialization in handling complex torts, traumatic brain injuries, and wrongful death claims. Jacob has a mastery across all facets of litigation, excelling in pre-suit negotiations, alternative dispute resolution, complex discovery and e-discovery management, pretrial practice, trials, and appeals.

“When he joined the firm a few years ago, Jake quickly showed both the skill and common sense practice in and out of the courtroom that separates himself from other litigators, and a willingness to mentor young attorneys that is the backbone of our practice,” said Shareholder Mark D. Malloy. “I am extremely excited to welcome him as a partner and work with him for many years to come.”

As a shareholder, Jacob will continue his mentorship by recognizing and fostering legal talent within the firm, and will continue to be a key figure in shaping the future of the litigation practice group and contributing to the firm’s ever growing success.
